Most cars built before about 2008 talk over K-Line, not CAN, so a CAN gauge can't read them through the OBD port. This adaptor fills that gap. It handles the K-Line requests through your car's OBD connector, and puts the data on a separate CAN bus as standard OBD2 PIDs or as an ECU broadcast protocol your gauge already understands.

It isn't only for KrispyGauge. It works with any CAN gauge or CAN device, and because the output is configurable, it can sit on the same bus as your existing setup.
