Firmware updates are done wirelessly from your phone or laptop, with no cables or software to install. It takes less than five minutes.
Before you start: back up your settings under Advanced → Backup, and keep the ignition on for the whole update.
Get the latest .bin file from the KrispyGauge firmware page. If you haven't registered your gauge yet, you can do it there with your serial number and email.
Turn on the ignition and join the gauge's WiFi hotspot:

In your browser go to http://4.3.2.1 — type it in full, including the http://.
If it won't load, turn off mobile data, or try a different browser or device. Some phones handle hotspots differently, and that can change with updates. More fixes are in can't connect to your KrispyGauge.
Open Firmware Update, tap Choose File, select the .bin file, then tap Upload & Flash. On iPhone and Android the file is usually under Files → Downloads.
A progress bar shows on the gauge for 30–60 seconds, then it restarts by itself. Don't turn off the ignition, start the car or unplug the gauge until it has finished and rebooted.
Just try again — select the file and tap Upload & Flash a second time. This is normal, and it usually works on the retry.
